Gin, 53, has spent too many years enjoying skydiving as sport and hobby. Got back into family values (sailboat cruising) in 2008 and is enjoying liveaboard lifestyle for some 6 month every year. For the rest of the year, back on the hard - minds himself too important person at his business. Has got sailing experience in Baltic, North sea, Mediterranean and is longing now for Atlantic. Can motor his dinghy to your boat somewhere in the anchorage and invite you and crew for a BBQ dinner with glass of vine aboard Billabong.
This strange behaviour may develop to him after few weeks of singlehanded sailing, when family and visiting friends are away. Otherwise - he is a typical commuter cruiser. |
Lolita likes to crew on Billabong very much, cruising, absorbing other cultures, meeting people. She has won numerous Best-Of-Da-Best Galley Queen awards aboard Billabong. (Un)fortunately, our lovely landlocked home in Lithuania is full of pets that can't sail, and Lolita thinks all deer, elk, squirrels and large numbers of birds in a surrounding forest must be taken care of and need her supervision too. That makes her very busy walking Northen style with those sticks on the beach or in the forest and that leaves her with some less time available for sailing - some 2-3 months per year.

Our son Jonas, 20, comes sailing on Billabong occasionally - too many other priorities as for now (some of them very pretty). And sure, his engineering studies being the most important of all his priorities. We hope so...
